One would wonder if we have a free and fair democracy here in Zambia with our current government, because some of us citizens are really starting to doubt that. I think this government of ours has run down Zambia to the ground! They have not only destroyed something past presidents, governments and people worked so hard to Build since 1964 when we gained independence in a space of three years when our current government the "Patriotic Front" came in to power. They have simply ruined our economy making the kwacha one of the worst performing currencies in the world, even though we aren't facing any national crisis as a country, so what could the reason for our Depreciating currency be? Could it be incompetence in positions of power within our Government, o simply the Finance Minister who I would refer to as a Dinasour that is going to make a record breaking millstone of leading a nation in to two separate Depreciations with two separate governments. Anyway the reason why I think zambia is turning in to a dictatorship instead of democracy is because we have a single party (that claims it has the citizens best interests in mind) running the parliament and actually bragging (our vice president) about how they would win every motion or dismiss any motion in parliament. A sign of poor corporate governance is one individual party running the entire parliament. just a few days ago in a The Daily Nation of Zambia Newspaper article was saying a Copperbelt(province) MP got all the people of authority (government authority) from the copperbelt and told them they should first higher for hob employment and/or give land to a Patriotic Front (Pf ruling party) carder first before they even consider any one else! Now you ask Yourself's , is this type of dictatorship in Democracy clothing really What a country with dreams of development need? Voting for this man was a mistake the nation made and will have to suffer for. We made our bed and we have to lie in it. But let's not make a mistake of voting for the loudest man who won't even make his campaigns manifestos come to pass. I my fellow friends have labelled our President a liar.
